Podthings Podcast EP 18: What Happens in Delaware, Stays in Delaware » Listen Here
Recorded on Jan. 29, 2014
Adam and Erika kick off the episode talking names and strange spellings, and the conflict in Ukraine according to the“Explain Like I’m Five” subreddit. Lightening up, they discuss Dogeweather.com and the state of memes when they hit the news. Adam guesses which cities are the most and least “godless” in America, based on a totally scientific study by the American Bible Society – but surprise! Delaware doesn’t even rank, making the duo curious about Delaware. Later, the duo have deep conversations about the best Missed Connections ads on Winnipeg Kijiji. Adam challenges Erika to spot the fake news headline, but can she do it? Adam gets fired up for one of his rants on Kanye West and defends the dude from the Ponderosa Twins Plus One.
DAY 054 - Feb 4, 2014
Spent most of my evening watching the Bill Nye/Ken Ham debate (Is creation a viable model of origins in today’s modern, scientific era?)
Watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6kgvhG3AkI
I love what Bill Nye does for the science community. Him and Neil Degrass Tyson are the driving force behind getting kids interested in science.
